At Reading Libraries there is a special section for young
adult readers – aged 14+ – with fiction, books on tape,
graphic novels and information books.
We have series such as Point Horror and Sweet Valley High,
Buffy the Vampire Slayer™ and Angel™, and graphic novels,
including Aliens™ and Tombraider™. We have a wide range of
fiction, often tackling controversial issues or teenage
experiences, and audio books featuring some of the best
authors around.
Studying for exams? There’s a special study collection
with books on all the major topics at GCSE and A & AS
levels. There are also information books on a wide range of
topics including health, travelling, sport and music.

Why not branch out and have a look at the rest of the library? There are
Horror, Crime, Action/Adventure and Science Fiction sections in all our
branches and, at Reading Central Library, there is a section dedicated to
Local History (including maps of Reading), an extensive collection of music
CDs and lots of Internet terminals.
